So it is my understanding that the toilet is in the nose. Does the higher nose model have more head room in the toilet?

I can never recall seeing a low hood Southern unit until the merger with Norfolk and Western. The only Southern units I saw were the high hood and the front of the engines were on the opposite end from the ones shown. The talk was that president Brosnan did this to down play the role of humans.
