Now that's old school Yadkin Valley!!! This one was gone by the time I made my first visit to this line and the red and white GPs were on borrowed time. They would be gone on my second trip there. Nice shot!!! -- Joe H.

After G&O purchased this railroad, this ex-N&W unit went to the Atlantic & Gulf railroad down in Georgia (before the G&O had shops of their own, it was all open air). I believe it was finally scrapped at either Albany, GA or at Enterprise, AL.
