This station was built 1872 by the Northern Railway of Canada a very early predecessor of Canadian National Railways. Following abandonment of passenger service in 1966 it was bought by Ken Knapman and moved 10 feet back of its location. He turned it into a restaurant and railway museum and it was operated by Ken and Suyrea Knapman for many years as The Depot.
