Boy does this bring back memories, my favorite consist, 2 E7's with the big numbers, and my second favorite Seaboard train next to #17 The Tidewater. With all of the REA and PRR X-29's and then the baggage cars. And standing on the platform in Henderson and watching this train come roaring in to a stop, and then watching everybody go about their job of unloading and loading the mail and parcels, and then blasting off again for their next stop here in Raleigh. Again Wharton thanks for the memories.

Another great shot I missed this one before! This must have been when the bridge over peace street was still relatively new and also had alot more tracks on it then it has today.
