My first reaction to this picture: what is this? That engine looks like a twin sister of the former Dutch Railways 2400 class No. 2530 which is now preserved.
Together with the former Dutch Railways "Wadloper" in the background, makes this picture an interesting picture!

Yes, it was a rare and nice combination of Dutch railways equipment.
Behind, the Uruguayan flag testifies that the photo was taken in this land so far from its original Netherlands.
