Nice catch, Tom Posted by Bill Caywood on October 27, 2013  Please note the angle iron frames welded in front of and behind the five chime horns on the SD-24, these were a result of the SD-24s being used for years on the C N O & T P Rat Hole south of Danville, Kentucky. The frames protected the horns from icesickles hanging from tunnel portals and possibly inside the tunnels.
