You are so right. The Southern Still Serves the South. I still see quite a few Southern marked rail cars of all types and sizes. I usually catch them near Rome, Georgia and near Fort Payne, Alabama on the "AGS" or the Alabama Great Southern. I live in a small town where the TAG run through and Norfolk Southern still owns the rights of way from Chattanooga all the way to Birmingham. I have been taking more pics of the older cars and attempting to catch the old fallen flag logos on them. Thanks for posting this.
