What, not a night time pan shot? I like this one. Have you ever tried a night time pan shot? Is it even possible? If anyone could pull it off, you could.

Thanks Scott - Due to the rarity of the event and the pace at which it took place, I elected capture the scene with flash equipment. ISO 800, 1/100th at F 2.8. A pan would've required flooding the area with light - along with the batteries or generators necessary to power them. It was nearly pitch black here at 6:30 AM.

The smoke plume has interesting detail as it fades off into the darknees of the night. Thanks for sharing.
