@ Christian Bentley: That's from the lights /lanterns held by crew members as they walk the line inspecting the train. The image was taken on a tripod using multiple flashes during a 30 second exposure.

Very nice indeed. The lantern streaks came out really well. You even caught an airplane streak overhead! I wonder when was the last time Strasburg ran a double-header of any kind? I wonder if these particular locomotives had ever double-headed before? Despite a big stable of steam power, a double-header here is a mighty rare event. Great catch!
