I remember very well that tragic day!
It was a very sad day in Italy. The outcome was very serious.
It 'was one of the most serious incidents of the Italian railway history.
I also remember that it was talked about for a long time about the safety of the Italian railway network.

The accident resembles the similiar one that took place in Shandong Province, China, on the 28th of April, 2008. But the latter was not caused by the landslide of a hil, but by management.
