Well done John! You took another pair of Dash-9's and a cloudy day and turned them into a picturesque scene! Wouldn't have been the same without your good eye and photographic skills.

That old farm there in Valley Head on US Hwy 11 has always been a great spot to catch great photo ops. Just south of that location of where this is, is a crossing without gates that makes for some great shots as well. Also the closer the trains moves toward Ft. Payne, there are only a couple of locations that are suitable. Most of the locals are usually in a hurry and always try to outrun the train at just about all the crossings. All you have to do is stand a good distance away and zoom in with the camera and be prepared to be amazed.
