Fantastic shot of the Bay Street switcher(which is where they would often tie the engines down). That is taken at the Edgewood Av crossing back when Proctor and Gamble, amongst others were still in business. The CofGa mainline goes off to the left, the line to the Terminal Station and interchange with the Southern to the right, P&G tracks to the far right, and West Yard behind the photographer. At the time (if memory serves) the Southern Railway Brosnan Yard Operator controlled this area. Great memories-thanks for posting!

Thanks for the info. Did not spend a lot of time in Macon, and never really got a good grip on all the area lines and how they intertwined - especially south and west of downtown.
