The brake pipe is not connected as the wagon is not fitted with a brake.

A lovely old girl. I may have some aesthetic issues with British trains such as the couplers and no bells but gosh, the names and the colors more than overcome that. I am tempted to go wild and build a model railroad that combines everything I like from the Continent, Britain and the US.

I can't deny it's absolutely immaculate, but beauty is in the eye as they say, and i always thought LNER Apple Green was a bit of a weird shade.
