That’s a pretty green color matching the grassy area. Hopefully she isn’t pulling too many cars, as it appears the brake hose is not connected.

The brake pipe is not connected as the wagon is not fitted with a brake.

A lovely old girl. I may have some aesthetic issues with British trains such as the couplers and no bells but gosh, the names and the colors more than overcome that. I am tempted to go wild and build a model railroad that combines everything I like from the Continent, Britain and the US.

I can't deny it's absolutely immaculate, but beauty is in the eye as they say, and i always thought LNER Apple Green was a bit of a weird shade.
