I had the chance to participate in an Operation Lifesaver program that actuallyhad the engines hitting the car. It's amazing how much damage can be done ar 4 mph. We had the whole drill that played out like an actual accident. The train crew contacted the dispatcher, who then contacted our E-911 center who then toned our fire dept. The worst thing was we had an actual car vs train incident at the vame crossing we used for the demo about two weeks later.
