This one is a former Southern. N&W SD 40-2s.had a low nose and were originally oriented to run long hood forward. N&W high hood SD 40s (prior to dash 2) had the bell on the short hood.

Ahhhhh... that's what every high nose SD40-2 should get out from Altoona Shops! Beautiful!
