Is this really the new TGV paint scheme? Looks awful, looks like a paint scheme for a suburban train, not a TGV!

This wouldn't be too bad except for the white on the power cars. But that makes it hideous. Bring back the classic orange.

Indeed, the SNCF had had exellent liveries in the 50's, 60's, 70's and early 80's (orange TGVs). However things deteriorated in the 80's with the mundane and uninteresting "beton" (concrete) livery. We have also benefited from the fantasy "La Cage aux Folles" pink and grey livery. Now it is the TGVs who will carry the bad taste of SNCF marketers...

For me the orange is the better livery for this kind of high speed train. But I think that this new livery will not stay in the time. Moreover all the other high speed train like the duplex (double deck) preserved livery gray and blue original one remade to the same when it passed in general revision.
