Maybe I just don't know much about the MP, but I had no idea they had engines in UP paint but had MISSOURI PACIFIC on the side

Jacob, I don't believe these units were ever painted yellow by Missouri Pacific, but were painted and lettered by Union Pacific post 1982. I believe UP did this for some other locomotives also (GP50 & B30-7). From what I understand, most of these sub-lettered units were used for rock train service in and around the state of Texas until their retirement.

MoPac's orders for 60 C36-7's and 60 SD50's were delivered in UP paint with MoPac lettering. They were the last units MoPac ordered and never wore blue.
Nice catch Roger, these units were unique.
