Nice picture in a different sort of way. Lots of nostalgia here- old locomotives, old yard, old car. Looks almost as if it could be a picture of a model railroad. One to sit and ponder over a bit.

I'm NOT sure the mechanics who maintained them would agree, but those LIRR C-420s were "marvelous" engines to watch accelerate out of a station or while chanting along "at speed." So SAD that just aboout everythiing you see here is now gone.
