I miss these older photos with the SSW & SP intermixed with each other. It was such a common sight that no one gave it a second thought. When UP merged with SP (D&RGW) & SSW came along for the ride, things really began to change in railroading & for the Union Pacific. Being a fan of the UP, we cheer them on as our own team. RAILROADING is the best sport ever!
