An interesting event occured here. Right where the cars are snaking closest to the cliff and the river, a westbound Kanas City/Pasco freight derailed last winter. Three cars of grain went into the frozen river, cars bound for our feed mill, Conway Feed. Hearing of the derailment, and then our cars suddenly disappearing off the tracking, I contacted my MRL buddies in Helena with the car numbers. Sure enough, they were ours. It didn't take long for the story to spread, and one MRL employee named this spot "Burwash Bay."
