I hear the bridge is going, but is the line being abandoned or will they replace the bridge? Just another great eastcoast railfan spot I never got to see.

The bridge is to be replaced with a new span about 75 feet south of the present structure, and the present bridge will then be torn down. Construction has not started from all appearances based on the latest (October 2013) photo posted.
