These efforts certainly put UP's in the shade now. I thought they looked pretty good a few years ago, but theres just no comparison with Norfolk Southern's heritage scheme's. These locomotives are a credit to the company, they should justifiably be very proud.

ALL of these heritage units are absolutely magnificent Beasts ! Say what you will, but I have NO favorite - they're ALL works of art and credits to the NEW NS. Now,...any chance left for a Heritage Unit from The Atlantic and East Carolina ?

Very nice NS! You definitely win over UPs heritage units in terms of paint schemes, but UP still gets credit for the custom unit numbers.
