Only 3 days left before "C"-day...April 1, 1976. Those look like subway cars behind the locomotives.

This is a pretty rare photo--SDP45! Very few were built, and E-L's were built sans-steam generator to make room for more fuel (SDP45 had longer frame/fuel tank). Very cool.
