NCIX = Nova Chemicals Inc.

NCIX stands for Nova Chemicals Corp, the locomotive is located at the INEOS Styrenics plant there in Channahon. INEOS and Nova Chemical had a 50:50 joint venture until 2010 when INEOS bought the other half from Nova Chemical which would explain why there would be a locomotive at the facility lettered for Nova Chemicals.

According to Google Maps, INEOS Styrenics has since closed. Not sure who, if anyone owns the plant now. Looking to the south of where this photo was taken on Google, one can see a black EMD switch engine in the yard of covered hoppers. Any info on that loco as well?
