206 MPH in 1955 - that's astonishing. Kind of makes you wonder why the Japanese were first with "fast trains". Nice looking engine but I'm partial to the BB 9004. Wonder if it really did match or actually exceed this engine's record. Nice shots, Daniel!

Attractive thing with chrome or stainless steel (?) trim and porthole windows. Like the colors too.
