ALTO should be preserved, but realistically, it is not possible to save it due to it's location and the fragile condition of the building. Conrail 6700 was the first Conrail SD50. The first SD50s were built for KCS, but "production" SD50s and SD50S units are counted as seperate models by some historians and just a variation by other historians. To my thinking, CR 6700, now NS 6324 is the first "production" SD50, but was it? It had non-standard Flexi-coil trucks, rather than the "Normal" HTC wheel sets. Confused yet? BTW, it is a nice shot of an endangered landmark, that outlasted it's "sister" tower structures.
