This has the feel of the Central Vermont's south end, where steam lasted well into the time the Edsel would have been on the road. So, it could be 1957 anywhere south of Palmer.

IT is a simply gorgeous shot. I do wish the car was older. New Haven dieselized in 1952, as best I recall, six years before that Edsel would have been built.
