I believe that this locomotive went to CASS, WV. after it left Ft. Eustis. If so does anyone know where it went from Cass last year? I was told that it was trucked out in three pieces to some where in the North Ga. area?????

Beast! Great catch, Tom! A sister to an engine #557 that just returned to Alaska for restoration and one of 7 survivors, though currently being used as a parts source for TVRM #610.

I'm pretty sure this one went to a northern state purchased by a private collector. I don't think this the one @ Cass. This 611 has a distinctive Poppet Valve gear at the top of the cylinder. It was shipped out of TVRM a couple of years ago. BTW, interesting shot.
