I think photographer Danneman will understand when I say this picture reminds me of the old page headings used on the earlier versions of CTC Board magazine. Each railroad article featured train graphics whose equipment was specific to that railroad. The beauty of Tom's silhouette is greatly aided by the nearly perfect channel of sunlight that remained on the horizon.

There are always so many great photos on this site; but every few thousand one pops out that just blows the others away. This photo almost leaves me speechless-- it is just that beautiful!! What a catch! And I agree with the above comment about the silhouettes from CTC Board magazine. PCA from me!

I've seen this kind of thing thousands of times and never thought to capture it like that. Or, is it I've never in my entire life have been witness to such a vista and only hope I would've captured it like that. SC from a non-screener and a PC from me. Well done!
