I'll assume that road is on his property, because if it's a public road, the farmer has no case. I do like you image, however.

I was threatened for photographing a roadside corn crib once. I made a clean getaway over the nearby state line, however!

You avoided a $100 charge? Not bad. The end result is excellent!

Congrats on hitting Top of 24 Cam! Great light, composition and subject matter! You even got the guy barrelling down the lane to give you the what-for! I'm actually surprised that old girl is still standing. Btw (if you don't already know) it's legal to take pictures all day long for free of anything visible from a public place,so long as you remain in that public place! Next time stay on the road allowance and give him the old one-finger salute! :-)

Living in this area all my life, it's been inetersting watching this beauty decay. I would say its been there at least 20 years. Used to be in much better shape. What a shame to have a piece of history like this, and let it become it's current state.

100 dollars to take a photo of that. Yea right.

It makes no sense how they charge 100 dollars for photos, but don't seem to use that 100 dollars to do anything close to fixing the poor thing.
