Another great looking locomotive! I don't suppose that NS would be kind enough to paint one in a SOO or Milwaukee Road theme for those of us in Minnesota? :) Doesn't hurt to ask. Can't wait to see the next one.

Send her to Raleigh, Charlotte, Morehead City, and up here to Washington, DC. Great looking engine, and to think I didn't like the old red scheme before this one came out, I wanted it to be in the later old NS gray scheme I was familar with.

Beautiful, simply beautiful!! I've been anxiously awaiting this unit's debut and it's even nicer than I ever envisioned it would be. The painting crew in Chattanooga should be proud. Thanks again Casey and Norfolk Southern!

I remember this color scheme from seeing it when I was only seven years old. If I never see any of the rest, this is the one I want to see up close. Thanks NS and Casey Thompson.

Hey Casey: Is NS going to make a heritage calendar? If they do post a notice on RP so that we can get a copy. I was bottle fed on steam, but pictures like these are beginning to turn my head.

Sharp looking, best to date. I hope this unit comes through Indiana sometime. Would love to see it.

Does anyone know if this is the last GE unit to be painted in a heritage scheme? When are the EMDs coming out?

It appears that NS is keeping the heritage units in the Va, W.Va, and Pennsylvania area. Not seeing or hearing of them coming through Indiana. Bummer.
