Just stunning! It sure would be nice to have entire fleets of these two spectacular paint schemes on their home rails.

Any bets on how long it will be until one of the exceptional "painters" put this fleet out in Microsoft Train Simulator? Stunning capture of an historical moment, thank you for sharing this with us:)

@SeanK97~ The folks at Jointed Rail have already put out Conrail, Southern, & Nickel Plate Road for the Trainz Simulator series. Epic shot BTW! Faved! :)

If Benjamin Button were the photographer, the NS unit would've been the heritage unit. Great series, Mr NS!

Good situational awareness there, Casey! The N&W unit met the NKP unit at Chillicothe, Ohio, on its way to this location. I don't think anyone got a picture though.

I don't think NS is going have any problems with a shortage of calendar photos next year...its going to be a 12 month Casey Thomason lineup.

Amazing. Thank YOU and NS for this visual experience. Boo hoo, now we'll be forced to mortgage our homes to afford the HO models if and when China gets around to producing these for the US importers....LOL.

Out of all locations, this is so close to home. This is an amazing shot. Probally my most favorite on RP.
