Even as a native southern Californian who's never stepped foot in England, I have always been a huge fan of Mallard and the A4s, especially with the blue livery and streamlined skirting hanging over the drivers. Even though the SP Daylight GS 4-8-4s are native to my hometown, I have to admit how these are absolutely stunning hybrids of transportation, elegance, and, of course, speed.
