A shot that O. Winston Link would be proud of. If only you could possibly capture the same shot with Norfolk Southern's Heritage Norfolk Western locomotive to go through here.

I realize this comment MAY NOT be accepted as it could be considered advertising. But, that being said, it would be REALLY GREAT if everyone who views this excellent photo would send a little something to SUPPORT the Rural Retreat Depot Foundation. I have NO CONNECTION to that organization, just thought it would be a GOOD IDEA if we ALL HELPED SUPPORT their RESTORATION efforts for this famous structure. I am.

it was built and used by the Norfolk and Western railroad. O. Winston Link did a very famous steam recording of a J class 4-8-4 going through here on Christmas Eve 1957. You can find the whole thing at www.youtube.com
