BNSF is go! Nice shot - and one of the few at this location where the entire train is captured, lol.

Nicely done David! Besides the wonderful composition, the single engine gives a greater perspective on the size of the surrounding landscape.

Very pretty shot, Dave. Glad to see this one in the DB. BTW, I remember the TV Series "Thunderbirds" and their "International Rescue" operation. That was a "few" years ago! Most of the youngsters here in the US probably have no idea what you are talking about. Here in the US, the "Thunderbirds" are the equivalent of what you'd call the "Red Arrows". I've seen the Reds too, BTW! They're fantastic! :o)

Delighted to hear that people know what I am talking about. nice picture though this is it was a bummer for me as I had travelled here for some railfanning and the incident caused the line to be blocked and nothing else ran whilst I was there. I had to head for BC and the CPR line from Golden for the next action.

This shot is really good! Awesome! Only one thing I noticed though, the locomtive is actually a Dash-9. Great shot though!

"Really, Boss. I wanted to park it where no one would steal it!"
