This picture is taken facing east looking across the Salt Lake Valley toward the Wasatch mountains in the distance. Just to the left of the 772 in front of the green maintenance shack is the silver sanding tower. The maintenance shack was used by the repairmen who would check brake lines and repair gladhands and replace brake shoes in preparation for the trip to the concentrator. Watch out for the overhead trolley. That is only 750 volts dc!
