I hope that conservation efforts are made to keep this station standing. It's sad to see graffiti taggers are attacking it even as they work on it. I spent many days talking to the station master in this very station when I was younger and watching trains roll past and some even stop. The semephor is long gone and the grey paint has been stripped off but it still brings back memories. I would love to see this station restored to a functioning station but that seems unlikely.

As of December 2020 this station is no more.
It had been allowed to deteriorate to the point of becoming dangerous to leave standing.
