Fantastic shot! For anyone who cares, just a few months after this shot in August 1998, MRL 7557 (obviously an SP SD45R) was repainted to MRL blue. At the same time it was renumbered to MRL 328. Fourteen years later it continues to serve as one of MRL's pinch-hitter helper units, complete with it's as delivered 20 cylinder prime mover. Because went through Southern Pacific's GRIP rebuild program, internally 7557/328 is an SD45-2 crammed into the shorter SD45 car body.
