Fantastic photograph of a GM&O "redbird" David. Note the orange "TRT" (Truck-Rail-Truck) bulkhead flatcars behind the motive power; a service offered by the Illinois Central Gulf in the 1980s.

Thanks. During my limited time in Springfield, I tended to head for Iles, so I have few Starnes shots. Was a great place.

Very cool! And I couldn't agree more, Springfield was definitely a great place for railfanning.
