All one needs to do is look and act as though you are commuting to, or from, work. Worked for me. (INTENDED! ;-))

I was there for about 25 minutes on a rainy afternoon recently, taking pictures in the same spot while I waited for my wife to pick me up downstairs. No hassles at all. I was dressed like a commuter and had arrived from New York via NJ Transit.
