A beautiful photo ! Did that tall tree come equipped with a Ladder or a Deer Stand. However you got this, it was worth the effort. Thanks for your posting, and keep them coming.

Thanks, Bill and Mike. I used a small step ladder to start my climb, but once I got past the first branch it was like climbing a ladder the rest of the way. Only one problem though that I noticed after it was too late...the tree was wrapped in poison ivy vines. I'm suffering for it today (and for the next week)! At least I was wearing gloves, but my bare arms didn't fare too well. :-(

That poison ivy was planted there on purpose as an ant-railfan tactic. Nice shot, you'll remember this one for a while! Leaves of three means railfan mis-ery.
