Ah, the good old days! There's a lot of things I wish I had saw as a four-year-old. What ever was the green tank car used for? Fuel storage?

What a clean and orderly looking facility. Modelers might think the scene needs some clutter!

The tank car was used as a fuel tender. BN experimented with the idea for a while. I think they stopped because the tank cars didn't have sturdy enough frames. They were adapted from stock designs which were never intended to be placed between two locomotives.
