Very nice shot of this little gem. I have photographed this elevator many times myself. On one occasion I stopped in to see the person running it and there was nobody around so I checked with one of the locals at a nearby house and was informed that the elevator is privately owned by a local Hutterite colony. Lets hope they preserve it.

There is a lot to like about this image- the wooden elevator, the weedy branch line, the spectacular sky, even the odd name for such an inland town (they do have a lake).
