The roster at Diesel Shop says the 131 had a steam generator. I wonder if it ever pulled a passenger train?

Interesting. The 131 never had a steam generator and I wonder how they came up with that information. Yes, I am sure that No. 131 pulled some passenger trains, as did most of the road freight engines from time to time, when an Amtrak train needed a unit or one reason or another.

That was the 101 with a boiler and SCL 1131 (SDP-35) would have been in and out of Acca.
