Yes, you don't see that too often. As soon as I saw the picture and before I read the caption I was racking my brain for a grade crossing between New Haven and Boston. Note, even the bird was scared. Not much protection for the motorman in a grade crossing accident. Thanks for a shot to thing about.

Great picture. Typically, what kind of speed do the AEMs make through grade level crossings? I've never actually witnessed one.
