Am I the only one who is mystified by the explanation given for this wreck?? An apartment building being erected on an active rail line? I don't get it.

I was dispatching that night on the SP and recall hearing about an ATSF train in the middle of the night striking a house that was being moved over the crossing on highway dollies. I believe the house was caught up in an overhead wire just prior to the incident. Much of the damage to the locomotive would most likely have been caused by steel beams supporting the structure.
