Great stuff! Notice this isn't a coal or empty drag, but one of the Virginian's through manifest runs. The company had some major overhead traffic other than coal.

My FIRST thought on viewing this excellent photo is how much it presages these motors future life on Penn Central, hauling freight on the ex-PRR "Port Road" along the east bank of the Susquehanna River south from Harrisburg.
