With the 1760 all scrubbed up for the occasion, it gives a good look at Seaboard's Pullman green when viewed in ideal light. Thanks Tom!

I wonder if 1760 was delivered with the "deflector" located on the front edge of it's cab, or if it was added by the railroad. Could the "deflector" possibly have something to do with the possibility of "Live Steam" coming from the "pop off valve" of the steam generator. Many steam locomotives had similar "deflectors" located at the rear edge of their cab roofs. And many "Steam Era Railfans" thought that All Diesel Locomotives looked alike, I think not ! Diesels did get modified as needed.
