I find this AMAZING considering how "pro-passenger" SAL and SCL were. Surprised they couldn't at least find a streamlined combine to run. I might have expected such an "accomodation" from Southern or New York Central, but NOT Seaboard. Does anyone know the points of origin and final destination for the Sunland at this point in time ? Still, it would have been an interesting trip.

Looks to me the locomotive is an E-unit, not sure though if it is an E-9 or E-8. I am surprised though of an E-unit pulling a single coach, I guess it could be considered overpowered a bit.

To respond to SeanK: The RF&P was ALWAYS a "Class Act" even on those occasions when their connecting roads did not quite "come up to snuff."

RF&P's only Es were 8s. Here E8A 1003. At this date their FP7s were only in freight service.
