Awesome photo! I did an internship at Rock Island Arsenal a few summers ago as a machinist apprentice. I took advantage of breaks to poke around the railyard (what's left of it, anyway). I wonder where they kept the 1682 in 2007... I didn't see any power around.

Both switchers were gone about 20 years ago. Thw Iowa Interstate RR switches the remaing track today.
